Terrific TV tutorial on living, working at home AND staying social!

I don’t usually put an exclamation mark in a blog headline, but the David Pogue segment this morning on CBS Sunday Morning is SO GOOD that I gotta! Click the picture:

The video replay is online, with transcript and enough photos to tell the story even if you can’t watch. LOVE THIS!

Things I hadn’t heard before include

  • NetflixParty.com, for simultaneous viewing with distant friends
  • Gathering in parking lots (6′ apart)
  • “Cocktails in the foyer” (apartment neighbors)
  • Group musical performances. (I’m amazed that Zoom can synchronize the feeds well enough to make this work!)

(Zoom’s investors will certainly be thrilled with being “Rule 1”, but it’s for good reason: they earned it – Zoom works better especially for bigger groups than anything I’ve seen.)
